My long term goal is to provide habitat for bees through projects involving seed paper with native California seeds and to educate students and the public about the importance of protecting bees. I hope that my project will go on to help the reintroduction of native species and contribute to restoration locally and hopefully other regions in the state or country. I specifically want to expose people to the role that bees play in our biological communities, and emphasize why it is crucial that they are protected.  I am hoping to collaborate with teachers to develop lessons connected to my project for different age groups. This project is my way to give back to the world and to inspire people to love nature and want to protect it as I do.
